Refund Policy
This policy sets out your rights to cancel or return an order placed through our online store, and how refunds work. It applies in addition to your legal rights as a consumer under UK law. Nothing in this policy affects those rights.
In short:
- Stock prints can be returned within 14 days of delivery for any reason. You pay the return postage, and the print must come back unused and in its original condition and packaging.
- Commissioned and personalised work cannot be cancelled or returned once you have placed your order, because it is made specifically for you. Your rights for faulty goods still apply.
- Faulty, damaged or incorrect items can always be returned for a full refund, repair or replacement. We cover the cost.
Your right to cancel (stock prints)
If you are a consumer buying a stock print online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods. To meet the cancellation deadline, you need to let us know you wish to cancel before that period ends.
This right does not apply to commissioned or personalised artwork (see below).
How to cancel and return an item
To cancel, email us at jimmylhutch@proton.me with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You can do this any time from placing your order up to the end of the cancellation period. We will then confirm the return address.
After telling us you wish to cancel, you must send the goods back to us without undue delay and within 14 days at the latest.
You are responsible for the cost of returning the item. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service appropriate to the value of the artwork, and packing it in its original protective packaging, as you are responsible for the item until it reaches us.
Condition of returned items
Returned prints must be unused and in their original condition and packaging. You are entitled to handle and inspect an item as you would in a shop, but if the value of the goods is reduced because they have been handled more than necessary, we may deduct an amount from your refund to reflect that loss in value.
Refunds
If you cancel a stock print within the cancellation period, we will refund the price you paid for the item, plus the cost of standard outbound delivery (we do not refund any extra you chose to pay for a faster or premium delivery option).
We will make the refund without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after we receive the goods back from you, or 14 days after you provide proof that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.
We will refund you using the same payment method you used to place the order, and you will not pay any fees for the refund.
Commissions and personalised work
Commissioned, bespoke and personalised artwork is made specifically to your requirements. For that reason, the 14-day right to cancel does not apply once your order is confirmed, and these pieces cannot be returned or refunded for change of mind.
This does not affect your rights if the work is faulty or not as described.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. This applies to commissions as well as stock prints.
If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not what you ordered:
- If you tell us within 30 days of receiving it, you can return it for a full refund.
- After 30 days, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and if that is not possible or successful, to a refund or price reduction.
In these cases we will cover the cost of returning the item, and we will refund any delivery charges you paid. Please email us at jimmylhutch@proton.me with your order number and, where possible, a photo of the fault or damage, so we can sort it out quickly.
Damaged in transit
Your order is our responsibility until it is delivered to you. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within a reasonable time of delivery with a photo, and we will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
