Jimmy Hutch is an artist and illustrator based in Suffolk, working between Suffolk and London.
His practice spans original oil paintings, limited-edition prints, and illustration, often combining hand-drawn and digital techniques. The work explores the relationship between shape, story, and structure, using form and composition to suggest narrative rather than spell it out.
Trained at Central Saint Martins (London), Jimmy developed a cross-disciplinary approach that continues to shape his work today. His pieces sit somewhere between the graphic and the painterly, balancing considered structure with texture, imperfection, and process.
Alongside his personal practice, he is available for illustration commissions and collaborative projects.
Jimmy Hutch has exhibited work and contributed illustration across gallery, cultural, and institutional contexts.
